On 2008-11-19, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall regarding Air Compressors due to a potential drowning hazard. This product sold new beginning in July 2007 for about $2000.00 to $3500.00.

What is the problem?
The air compressor's components can fail, which could cause a stoppage of air flow. This poses a risk of drowning to users.

The recalled air compressors are used to provide air to divers.
These items were sold new+ at Brownie's Third Lung factory and various marine/diving products resellers nationwide from July 2007 through August 2008 for between $2000 and $3500.
