On 2013-01-16, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published an expanded recall regarding Club Car Utility Vehicles due to a potential fire hazard. This product sold new beginning in February 2012 for about $5500 to $17700. It was originally recalled on 2012-09-19.

What is the problem?
The fuel tank filler neck can crack and allow fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard.

This recall involves the following 2012 Club Car gasoline and diesel utility vehicles. The model and serial numbers are located on a decal above the passenger's side floor board. "Club Car" is printed on the front of the vehicles.

NOTE 01/16/2013: The model numbers, serial numbers and sold dates were changed by the CPSC.
NOTE: Several models of golf and hospitality vehicles were also recalled at the same time.
Additionally, similar models of Club Car utility vehicles were previously recalled.
These items were sold new+ at Authorized Club Car dealers nationwide from February 2012 through June 2012 for between $5,500 and $17,700.

Club Car has received 10 reports of incidents involving fuel tank filler necks cracking. No injuries or fires have been reported.
