On 2012-06-05, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall regarding Convertible High Chairs due to a potential fall hazard. This product sold new beginning in December 2011 for about $40.

What is the problem?

The activity tray on the high chair can unexpectedly detach and allow an unrestrained child to fall, posing a risk of injury to the child.

Instance(s) of injuries have been reported.

How can I tell if I own this product?

This recall involves Evenflo high chairs that convert from a high chair to toddler-size table and chair. The convertible high chair can be identified by the model names and numbers listed below. Model numbers are located on a label on the lower portion of one of the high chair's legs.

These items were sold new+ at Toys "R" Us and Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com and Wayfair.com between December 2011 and June 2012 for about $40.

Incidents & Injuries Reported as of Recall Date

Evenflo has received 18 reports of trays that detached, including eight reports of children who fell from the high chair and sustained bumps and bruises.
