On 2017-03-10, the FDA announced that The SoyNut Butter is conducting a recall on Carb Not Beanit Butter due to possible contamination with escherichia coli. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Dixie Diners Club during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 71 food recalls due to potential contamination, including monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers, ouleout and miranda soft raw milk cheese and more. Additionally, there have been 60 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 14 drug and medical device recalls.

The SoyNut Butter Co. of Glenview, IL is expanding its recall of I.M. Healthy Brand SoyNut Butter and granola products. The recall now includes Dixie Diner's Club brand Carb Not Beanit Butter because they may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (E. Coli O157:H7). E. coli O157:H7 causes a diarrheal illness often with bloody stools. The recalled Dixie U.S.A. product was only available for purchase via mail order or online portals. Read More.
