On 2016-05-27, the FDA announced that Sid Wainer & Son is conducting a recall on Tart Shells due to possible undeclared coconut, eggs. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Domaine de Provence during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 52 food recalls due to potential undeclared ingredients, including coffee mix (robusta), beef products and more. Additionally, there have been 107 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 32 drug and medical device recalls.

Sid Wainer & Son of New Bedford is voluntarily recalling Domaine de Provence La Cucina Tart Shells and Neutral 3 Cone Tart Shells due to undeclared allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to Tree Nuts, specifically Coconut and Eggs run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The product is safe for consumption by those who do not have Coconut or Egg allergy. Read More.
