On 2018-01-11, the FDA announced that Gilster – Mary Lee is conducting a recall on Coat & Bake Original Chicken Coating due to possible undeclared milk. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Essential Everyday during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 52 food recalls due to potential undeclared ingredients, including dried longya lily, iced oatmeal cookies and more. Additionally, there have been 69 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 16 drug and medical device recalls.

January 8, 2018 - Gilster-Mary Lee, 520 Old St. Mary's Road, of Perryville, Missouri, is voluntarily recalling one lot of Essential Everyday Coat & Bake Original Chicken coating, UPC 41303-01572 at the consumer level because it may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Read More.
