On 2016-05-26, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall regarding Hollander Sleep Products Wamsutta Mattress Pads due to a potential fire hazard. This product sold new beginning in August 2015 for about $110 to $170.

What is the problem?

The mattress pads fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses and mattress pads, posing a fire hazard.

How can I tell if I own this product?

This recall involves all sizes of Wamsutta Dream Zone cotton 800 thread count mattress pads, manufactured from August 2015 through January 2016. Hollander Sleep Products, style number 266BB and the manufacture date are printed on a label on a side of the mattress pad.

These items were sold new+ at Bed, Bath & Beyond stores nationwide and online at www.bedbathandbeyond.com from August 2015 through January 2016 for between $110 and $170.

What should I do if I own this recalled product?

First, stop using the item.
