On 2018-08-03, the USDA announced that Star Natural Meats is conducting a recall on Raw Pork Sausage Products due to possible undeclared milk, soy. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Loukaniko Greek during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.
In recent months, there have been 37 food recalls due to potential undeclared ingredients, including almond milk, aloha bbq quesadilla and more. Additionally, there have been 45 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 25 drug and medical device recalls.

Star Natural Meats, LLC, an Astoria, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 20,000 pounds of raw, non-intact pork sausage products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain milk and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label. In addition, the products contain restricted ingredients, specifically sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate, which are not declared on the finished product label. Read More.
