On 2019-02-26, the USDA announced that Sahlen Packing Company is conducting a recall on Ready-To-Eat Deli Meat Products due to possible contamination with foreign matter. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) MARKET 32 BY PRICE CHOPPER during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 34 food recalls due to potential contamination, including green beans and butternut squash, boneless pork rib frozen entree products and more. Additionally, there have been 47 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 22 drug and medical device recalls.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2019 - Sahlen Packing Company, Inc., a Buffalo, N.Y. establishment, is recalling approximately 13,224 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) deli ham products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
