On 2013-09-12, the USDA announced that National Beef Packing Company is conducting a recall on Beef Tongue Root Filet Products due to possible contamination with e. coli. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) National Beef from August 2013 to September 2013 throughout the regions shown in the map below.
In recent months, there have been 31 food recalls due to potential contamination, including cinnamon rolls with icing, greek yogurt products and more. Additionally, there have been 32 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 38 drug and medical device recalls.
