On 2018-03-01, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall regarding Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners/Heat Pumps (PTACs) due to a potential burn and fire hazard. This product sold new beginning in January 2010 for about $700 to $1400.

Incidents & Injuries Reported as of Recall Date

Goodman has received nine reports of PTACs catching on fire, including one report of smoke inhalation with medical attention.
