On 2011-04-05, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall regarding Pampers Natural Stages Infant Ortho and Bulb Pacifiers due to a potential choking hazard. This product sold new beginning in April 2010 for about $6.

What is the problem?

The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards and pose a choking hazard to young children.

How can I tell if I own this product?

The pacifier comes in yellow, pink or blue colors and is made of silicone. Only "Stage 1" pacifiers are recalled. "Stage 1" and "Ortho" or "Bulb" are printed on the package. The recalled pacifiers have an oval-shaped mouth guard and "Pampers" molded on to the handle side of the mouth guard. The product comes two per package.

These items were sold new+ at Retail stores nationwide from April 2010 through February 2011 for about $6.

What should I do if I own this recalled product?

First, stop using the item.
