On 2018-10-11, the USDA announced that Valley Fine Foods is conducting a recall on Meat And Poultry Products due to possible contamination with spoilage or pathogens. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) SIMPLE DISHES during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 33 food recalls due to potential contamination, including pork head cheese products, pistachio products and more. Additionally, there have been 37 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 33 drug and medical device recalls.

Valley Fine Foods, a Forest City, N.C. establishment, is recalling approximately 35,516 pounds of heat-treated, not fully cooked meat and poultry products that may be adulterated due to presence of spoilage organisms that have rendered it unwholesome and unfit for human food, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
