On 2018-03-29, the USDA announced that Target is conducting a recall on Meat And Poultry Products due to possible contamination with spoilage organisms, pathogens. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Target during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 35 food recalls due to potential contamination, including chicken products, mini eclairs and more. Additionally, there have been 61 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 25 drug and medical device recalls.

Target Corporation, located in Minneapolis, Minn. is recalling an undetermined amount of frozen ready-to-eat and not-ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to temperature abuse during transport, which may have resulted in the growth of spoilage organisms or pathogens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. Temperature abuse, during which the product was at temperatures greater than 60F for over five hours, may result in the growth of the proliferation of Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Shiga-toxin producing E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella.
