Recall: The Maiden's Creamery Raw Goat Milk Cheese


On 2018-03-12, the FDA announced that Good Fields Farm / The Maidens Creamery is conducting a recall on Raw Goat Milk Cheese due to possible contamination with listeria. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) The Maiden's Creamery during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 29 food recalls due to potential contamination, including kratom powder, organic cardamom whole green pods and more. Additionally, there have been 52 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 22 drug and medical device recalls.

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Richard Ball today warned consumers not to consume The Maiden's Creamery "Wild Meadow" Raw Goat Milk Cheese made by Mark Harvey, 1277 Copes Corner Road, South New Berlin, NY 13843 due to possible Listeria contamination. To date, no illnesses have been reported to the Department in connection with this product. Read More.
