On 2017-10-09, the USDA announced that Demakes Enterprises is conducting a recall on Sausage Products due to a possible milk. The recalled products were sold under the brand name(s) Thin n Trim during an unspecified time period throughout the regions shown in the map below.

In recent months, there have been 2 food recalls due to potential misbranding and undeclared allergens, including poultry products, shrimp scampi and meat lasagna products and more. Additionally, there have been 78 food recalls due to other health hazards as well as 27 drug and medical device recalls.

Demakes Enterprises, Inc., a Lynn, Mass. establishment, is recalling approximately 32,228 pounds of fully cooked chicken sausage product due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. Read More.
