What is the problem?
The on-off switch can be dislodged from the casing, resulting in exposure of electrical connections. This can pose an electrical shock hazard to the consumer.
How can I tell if I own this product?
This recall includes the Wagner Control Spray Plus Model 0414248. This model number can be found on a white label located on the side of the motor housing. Model numbers and dated codes affected are listed in the full recall announcement and can be found stamped on the bottom of the motor houseing, near the air hose connection.
These items were sold new+ at Major chain home centers and hardware stores nationwide from August 2007 through April 2009 for about $99.
