Numbers presented are for the calendar years shown and include recalls announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Yearly minimum units are rounded to the nearest multiple of five (5). Yearly average and maximum units are rounded to the nearest 100 thousand.

Approximately 5 recalls announced by the CPSC between 2006 and 2010 did not include unit-level detail. They were removed from the analysis.
