Detailed Recall Information for Caterpillar Ct681

Recall Summary: Caterpillar Inc. (Caterpillar) is recalling certain model year 2015 CT660, and CT681 trucks manufactured July 28, 2014, to November 5, 2014. The affected vehicles may experience brake drag due to an improperly seated diaphragm in the brake chamber.
Hazard: Brake drag may result in a wheel end fire.
Remedy: Caterpillar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the brake actuators, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on February 16, 2015. Owners may contact Caterpillar customer service at 1-309-675-5658. Caterpillar's number for this recall is 000387.
