Recall Summary: ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE FUEL PUMP AND IGNITION RELAYS INSTALLED DURING PRODUCTION COULD BE DEFECTIVE. THIS CAN CAUSE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL TO STOP FUNCTIONING AND THE ENGINE TO STOP.
Hazard: IF THE ENGINE STOPPED WHILE THE MOTORCYCLE WAS BEING DRIVEN, IT COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP AND IGNTION RELAYS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING OCTOBER 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUCATI AT 1-408-253-0499.

Recall Summary: ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE INCORRECT REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ROCKER ARM WAS INSTALLED DURING PRODUCTION.
Hazard: THE INCORRECT COMPONENT COULD POTENTIALLY FAIL CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ROCKER ARM AND REPLACE IT IF NECESSARY FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 15, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUCATI AT 408-253-0499.
