Recall Summary: Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 GEM eLXD L09GVHA4X and L10GVHA4X hybrid electric vehicles manufactured November 25, 2008, to December 30, 2010. The affected vehicles have frame welds between the cab and cargo bed that may crack.
Hazard: If the frame welds crack, the frame may fall and contact the pavement, stopping the vehicle suddenly and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall is expected to begin in May 2015. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290.
