Recall Summary: KEYSTONE IS RECALLING 11 MY 2008 OUTBACK LOFT TRAVEL TRAILERS MODEL 27V. THE LOFT ROOF LIFT MECHANISM MAY NOT BE PROPERLY SECURED.
Hazard: IF THE LOFT ROOF LIFT MECHANISM IS NOT PROPERLY SECURE AND/OR USED WITHOUT THE SAFETY POLES, AN INCREASED RISK OR PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE EXISTS.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL SECURE THE LIFT MECHANISM WITH DIFFERENT FASTENERS. THE REMEDY WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JUNE 5, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT KEYSTONE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-866-425-4369.

Recall Summary: KEYSTONE IS RECALLING 2,990 MY 2008 EVEREST, MY 2008-2009 HORNET, LAREDO, SPRINTER AND OUTBACK LOFT FIFTH WHEEL AND TRAVEL TRAILERS FOR FAILING TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108 "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THE INTERMEDIATE SIDE MARKER LIGHTS ARE MISSING.
Hazard: PULLING A VEHICLE AT NIGHT WITHOUT THE PROPER SIDE MARKER LIGHTING INCREASES THE RISK OF OTHER MOTORISTS NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE VEHICLE AND COULD POSSIBLY RESULT IN A CRASH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL THE MISSING SIDE MARKER LIGHTS FREE OR CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 12, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT KEYSTONE AT 1-866-425-4369.
