|Recall Summary:||Manac Trailers USA, Inc. (MANAC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Darkwing Aluminum Flatbed 5 or 8 axle trailers manufactured May 19, 2014 to June 5, 2015. The affected trailers have a coupling plate that may separate from the trailer.|
|Hazard:||If the coupling plate separates from the trailer, the trailer could disconnect from the towing vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.|
|Remedy:||MANAC has notified owners, and dealers will install a new coupling plate and repair all cracked frame webs, free of charge. The recall began on June 8, 2016. Owners may contact MANAC customer service at 1-800-361-7900.|
