Recall Summary: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain model year 2015 Porsche 918 vehicles manufactured February 25, 2014, to September 18, 2014. The front lower control arms may fracture.
Hazard: The fracture of a lower control arm while the vehicle is being drivem increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front lower control arms, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AF01. Note: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until it has been remedied. Remedy parts are expected to be available at the end of February 2015.
